Tony Corrao's 1926 Ford Model T Roadster.

Having started with a original 1926 Ford Model T Roadster pick up body, Tony Corrao designed and built this 50's early 60's traditional style hot rod from scratch. Beginning with a pile of rectangular tubing, Tony built the pinched and stepped 2x3 frame with 5 crossmembers. A 305 Chevy V8, 3 speed standard transmission and a S10 rear axle were added for power. A 1937 Ford assembly makes up the front end with GM disc brakes. A steel bed was built, and a 15 gallon gas tank added. Don Casper of "Inside Rides" in Waterford, Wi. built the interior and top. Other than those, this neat little ride was entirely built in Tony's garage with the help of some hot rod buddies in his home state of Wisconsin. Now some 12 years later, and many miles under her Hot Rod black paint job, it continues to turn heads. The car has been featured in both, Street Rodder and Rod & Custom magazines, and has won many awards. Kids love it, and the parents ask, "What is it?" The car hobby is all about fun with cars and this little ride will put a smile on your face every time !

Tony Corrao's 1932 Ford HighBoy Roadster.

Commissioned by BFGoodrich Tire in 1993, This 32 Ford HighBoy Roadster was built by California Hot rods, Chuck Lombardo. With design influence from Chip Foose, Boyd Coddinton and Dan Fink, It was used for their advertising in car culture magazines centerfolds, as well at live events throughout the country, most notably at NSRA and Good Guys national events . It showcased the BFG Radial T/A line of tires, which were popular in the day for high performance automobiles. It features a Wescott body, Dan Fink windshield, CSR chassis, Super bell chrome front axle assembly, Wilwood disc brakes, an 8 inch Ford rear on Alden American coil over spring suspension. A removable hard top completes the look, along with American racing wheels and of course BFG tires. Black leather interior, and an Alpine sound system make the miles pass in comfort. For added comfort, a tilt steering column and power disc brakes add to its driving pleasure. A 383 cubic inch Chevy V8 and a Turbo 350 transmission provides the power. I have to recognise our own Joe Ferante JR for his expertise in the repair and mechanical restoration of this iconic vehicle, Joe spent many an hour, straightening out mistake after mistake as well as updating the car, to make it a reliable vehicle to enjoy. This dream of a 32 Ford Roadster goes back 40 years and was a dream my dad and I both shared. While we both had many hot rods, the "32 was simply not accessible then. A serious hunt began late last year, with finding many cars, but nothing that matched the picture in my head from years ago. This car fit that picture and the history was a bonus, not expecting to ever find such an historical HOT ROD as this. Tony Corrao Sun City Center, Fl.
